Business Studies

Pathway Subject

Business is all around us and affects each of us in our daily lives.  In GCSE Business Studies we investigate the dynamic environment in which business operates and examine the many and varied factors which impact upon business activity and business behaviour.

Substantial reference to the real world of business will be made in order to make Business Studies as relevant as possible to students’ own experiences and future careers.  Students will investigate products ranging from Walkers’ Crisps to Persil Powder, and companies as diverse as Marks and Spencer, Manchester City as well as local small businesses.
