Students “buddy up” with visitors from Thailand

Just like any other teenager, I’m not usually the type to get excited about going to school.  This Tuesday was definitely an exception. Five other pupils and I got the chance to be the “buddies” of six Thai students and one of their teachers. 

On Tuesday morning we were all nervous as we awaited their arrival but as soon as they made it our nerves were replaced with comfort.  Perhaps I am infelicitous at times but these wonderful visitors took away any awkward feeling I had. 

Not only were they easy to talk to but they were also some of the kindest people I have ever met.  They were friendly, sweet and even brought us presents from Thailand! 

I enjoyed answering their questions as they shadowed us in lessons and I loved learning things about them.  Their level of English speaking never failed to impress me!  Over these past few days we have made memories and friends and because of this we will miss them.  I hope that one day we will all meet again.
