Middlewich STARS Evening
On Thursday 12th July, students, parents and staff joined together to celebrate the achievements of the first cohort of Middlewich students to take part in the Middlewich STARS programme.
On Thursday 12th July, students, parents and staff joined together to celebrate the achievements of the first cohort of Middlewich students to take part in the Middlewich STARS programme. Special guests Kerry Kirkwood (Principal Sir John Deane’s college) and Mike Finney MBE (Governor) awarded the certificates, STAR badges and vouchers.
Over 60 students from years 7-11 were recognised for their participation and achievement. Many students had completed the required 8 challenges in order to pass the first year, and several received special recognition for completing all the challenges for their year. We were very pleased that two of our Year 11 students were able to complete their challenges alongside preparing for and completing their GCSEs!
We look forward to seeing next year’s challenges.
