Year 10 Scientists Get a Taste of College Life

In order to improve links between Middlewich High School and Sir John Deane's College we have organised various masterclasses for our triple scientists to give them a taste of college life and science at a higher level.

Now in our second year our students have taken part in A level practical assessments run by the college lecturers. They have involved activities such as working out the wavelength of laser light and seeing the behaviour of woodlice in choice chambers.

Our students have thoroughly enjoyed this excellent opportunity and I would like to thanks Anne Thomas, Head of Chemistry at SJD, for organising this event.
