I became a Parent Governor when my daughter started at Middlewich High School in September 2018. Without any previous experience in governance, or indeed within the education system, I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of getting to grips with new my role as a governor.

Although daunting at first, by completing the induction training and various other courses provided by the Local Authority, I have now gained sufficient knowledge to be able to purposefully contribute to the governing body and have recently been elected Chair of Governors.

I am married with two children (my son has just started at Middlewich High School) and I live in Middlewich, having moved here 15 years ago. I am an Airline Pilot with British Airways and in my spare time I enjoy running and playing golf.
