We have had an excellent week at Middlewich High School and we look forward to sharing the good news at the end of each week going forward.
We are excited to be launching the Outstanding Facilitator Programme(OFP) at the school. The OFP enhances the leadership of teaching and learning and aims to secure outstanding learning for our students. It is something that we are excited to introduce at Middlewich and will support our conscientious staff in their delivery of learning opportunities.
More good news is that we are still accepting new admissions into the school. This is great news for the school and the community, proving that we are fast becoming the place to be for our local residents. If you wish to look around our school please do contact us to arrange a tour at your convenience.
This week we had a brilliant night at the Scribe Festival. Our students swept the board in the Under-16s writing category, a huge congratulations to all who took part! Please see the full article in our News section of the website.
We have recently hosted the Deputy Headteacher’s forum as part of the Chimney House group. The Deputy Headteachers were very impressed with the school and our hospitality. We benefit from very strong partnerships with our partner schools and look to share best practice when we can.
Finally we celebrated World Mental Health Day last Friday by sharing a drink (non-alcoholic!) and a biscuit. The purpose was to raise awareness of mental health issues during form time; it was a fun and educational experience and is something that I hope that the students came away from school with an increased knowledge and understanding of this sensitive subject.
Many thanks to all parents, carers and students for your continued support.
