On Thursday, we enjoyed another excellent iValue Day.
Yesterday, we enjoyed another excellent iValue Day. Year 7 were treated to sessions on Resilience from Blesma and the Samaritans, as well as learning some cooking skills with Love Food Hate Waste - huge thanks to Jacks Middlewich for donating their unsold ingredients! Year 8 were visited by organisations such as Middlewich Vets and Cheshire Fire and Rescue, to give them an insight into different careers available to them, followed by taster sessions in various subjects to help them with their options next year. Year 9 learnt life skills, such as budget planning and goal setting, whilst Year 10 looked at relationships and emotional health. Year 11 were given the opportunity to visit various colleges and universities, to inform their choices for further education.
Thank you to all the wonderful organisations who gave up their time to work with our students; it was a fantastic day and it would not have been possible without your support.
