Excellence in Learning – Achievement for All

Modulo Music

Calling all Modulo musicians!

The Modulo Programme is launching its very first online weekly sessions, and you are invited! Join us every Wednesday at 5pm-6pm to make some music and meet young musicians from all over the UK! The first session will take place on Wednesday 27 January - we can't wait to see you there!

How do I take part?

Complete this Google Form by 10am, Tuesday 26 January
  • Tell your parent/guardian that you will be joining Zoom calls - there is a letter attached below, that you can show them to explain what you'll be doing.
  • Please note that even if you already completed a form to take part in the session in November, we still need you to complete this one to take part!
  • If you can't join every Zoom session, we will share what we all got up to so that you can catch up later on.
What is the Modulo Programme again? 🤔
The Modulo Programme is a network of music groups (we call them Modulos) in schools all across the country. All of the groups will be learning the same music and twice a year we bring all Modulos together, online or in person - first regionally and then nationally - to rehearse and perform as a large-scale orchestra, supported by a team of professional musicians from leading music organisations across the UK. We met some of you last November for the 'Say Hello to Modulo' session, but if you are new to the programme, we can't wait to meet you soon!

What will the sessions involve? 👋🎵🎺
These sessions will be a chance to find out more, meet other like-minded musicians from across the country, and take part in some fun music-making activities led by musicians from some of the UK's leading orchestras. You don't need to prepare anything at all to take part! If you have access to an instrument at home that's great but not essential - the session will work whether or not you have an instrument to hand.

The sessions will run every Wednesday on Zoom from the 27 January up to and including 3 March.

Any questions?
Speak to your music teacher if you have any questions about the Modulo Programme and rehearsals with your school group, or contact us directly on modulo@orchestrasforall.org.

Once you have signed up, look out for an email on Tuesday 26 January with details of how to join the first weekly session!

What are you waiting for? Complete this Google Form and we'll see you on Wednesday 27 January at 5pm!

All the best,

Myffy
