I am Middlewich born and bred, and a former pupil at Middlewich High, as well as Sir John Deane’s in Northwich.
After A Levels I joined Barclays Bank, where I still work. Over the years I have worked in many different departments and roles, for the last 26 years I have worked in the IT Department and currently work as a Programme Manager delivering large scale IT projects. My role has allowed me to work internationally including Dallas and New York in the USA, Shanghai in China, Manila in the Philippines, as well as in a number of European cities, I have spent a lot of time in India working in Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai.
In my free time I enjoy spending as much time in the great outdoors as possible, I am a keen cyclist and enjoy the flat roads and cycle paths of Cheshire, as well as more challenging off-road routes in the Lake District. I also enjoy walking, particularly on the North Devon coastal path.
This is my first role as a school governor and I’m looking forward to supporting Heidi, her team, and the pupils
