All pupils have access to instrument lessons on a wide range of instruments.  These are provided by an external not-for-profit company called Music for Life.

The school has also been awarded the Music Mark.

ABLE & TALENTED

Whilst every pupil is encouraged to be involved fully in all aspects of their music education, pupils identified as Able & Talented are individually invited to attend appropriate extra-curricular groups.  They will also be given opportunities to participate in workshops, trips and performances outside the classroom.  We regularly perform at the Middlewich FAB Festival and the Cheshire Show, as well as a variety of other venues and events.  Recent workshops and trips have included vocal workshops; composition project; African music; double-reed instrument workshop and Gamelan Festival.
